Job Description

Purpose of the Position

Responsible for ensuring the excellent execution of initiatives that drive the effectiveness and efficiency of our distribution partners including developing, defining, recommending, implementing and evaluating distributor management initiatives and processess, drive distributor performance based on the right performance reporting, coordinate annual budgeting and control and build right capabilities to accelerate distributor performance. All in line with overall RTC strategy and annual plan.

 

Key Accountabilities

Distributor Roadmap

  • To support the implementation of distributor development strategies in terms of optimizing distributor footprints and its capabilities in line with overall RTC plan
  • Gather inputs on distributor's capabilities and competencies to identify new development opportunities and manage distributor lifecycle
  • Monitor plan and action checklist on new DT appointments, renewal of distributorship and transitions

 

RTC Effectiveness

  • Assist in providing analysis for the RTC framework and end-to-end value chain
  • Support the implementation of touch point strategy between distributor and retailers including service levels by distributor, with special focus on DT telesales agents, RPM management and implementation of eB2B tools (OMNI, DIS, GR)
  • Collate rules of engagement, contract matrix and integrate wholesaler's role into overall RTC strategy

Distributor Incentive Scheme

  • To manage, monitor and track the monthly and year to date performance to ensure incentive payout
  • Provide all required reports accurately and timely
  • Actively make suggestions to continuously optimize effectiveness  DT incentive scheme

Distributor Operation Team   

  • Craft strategies that optimize distribution, considering factors like inventory management, transportation, and delivery timelines
  • Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of product by closely monitoring distribution processes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholder and distributors to manage right inventory and streamline delivery
  • Manage staff resources, allocate supplies, and create schedules for the distribution team

Distributor Development Program and Activities

  • Plan and execute the distributor engagement program, business review meetings and training activities as assigned from time to time
  • Support capability team in developing and executing capability building programs for DSRs
  • Coordinate with other departments that are involved in the areas of focus with the distributors base on the objective of each distributor engagement session.
  • Implement distributor safety agenda (delivery crew safety gear, Warehouse safety requirements) and review safety requirements and improvements on a regular basis
  • Motivate DT team members to enhance their performance and contribute to overall efficiency

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement distribution policies and procedures to ensure efficient and cost -effective operation
  • Manage and coordinate logistics and transportation operations, including receiving inventory management and order fulfilment
  • Monitor supply chain and inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained and meet customer demand
  • Work closely with sales team to ensure timely delivery of products to customer
  • Review and analyse production and customer demand data to forecast future distribution needs
  • Plan and execute the distributor engagement sessions, business review meetings and capability building activities with special focus on DSRs

Job Requirements

Education & Other Qualifications

  • Any graduate
  • At least 3 years consultative experience working as a distribution expert, working in FMCG Field or Beer industry
  • In-depth understand the intricacies of warehouse management, primary logistics and supply chain process

Experience & Knowledge

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, and Power Point
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills to develop channel-specific business plans and achieve objectives
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for building and maintaining relationships with Distributor - customers and internal teams
  • Commercial experience in FMCG and track-record on demonstrating commercial acumen are considered a plus
  • Willing to learn and take extra workload and working under pressure
  • Self-motivation to meet and exceed goals and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated, quick-learner, self-starter

Language

  • Business proficiency in English
  • Myanmar language is a must
