Key Responsibilities: Strategically manage the procurement processes for direct packaging materials, ensuring resilience and strategic sourcing. Act as a key representative of the packaging procurement department in executive meetings, providing insights and managing relationships with senior stakeholders. Develop and implement strategies to advance Unilever’s goals in Sustainability, Social Responsibility, Growth, and Value, with a focus on innovative packaging solutions. Build and manage key partnerships to meet sustainability goals in coordination with global portfolio teams. Collect, analyze, and utilize market data to provide accurate pricing forecasts for packaging materials. Collaborate with Business Unit leads to facilitate the introduction of new products and developments in packaging. Lead efforts to streamline processes, including harmonizing packaging specifications and consolidating suppliers. Oversee Operational Cash Flow and Working Capital for packaging materials and suppliers. Address and manage supply chain issues, ensuring high performance standards among packaging suppliers. Direct cross-functional projects and manage strategic relationships aligned with Unilever’s business interests.
Key responsibilities: Performance Measurement / Business Strategy Track progress vs. KPIs (financial and non-financial) Prepare business cases and ROI Assist the team in any financial information they need while working on business cases, Strategies, etc. Partnering Brand Managers, supporting the development and implementation of Category strategy. PH creation & pricing template works Ad hoc analysis of data to arrive at actionable insights to support category growth Innovative Business Partnering – Business Cases Working with the cross-functional team to generate scenarios and recommendations to maximize financial and strategic delivery of innovations Preparing business case summaries for the Category LT meeting Filing the business cases according to the Innovation Planning Management template and make sure to upload them to the system before each gate keeping Budget and Budgetary Control Monthly review of budget vs. actual and highlighting teams on over & under spends Periodic update of budget to reflect change in plan and activities Responsible for monthly results preparation and analysis
Main Scope Monthly Material Price Control and Analysis Transfer Price Calculation for Export Projects Conduct product cost forecasting and budget controls month end P/L closure and supply chain activities Accrual Management Analysis & reconciliations, support control & audit activities. Month end closing and balance sheet controls for relevant accounts. Control the governance of saving deliver to meet business targets Review and analyse standard Cost Vs Actual, highlight Risk and Opportunities to maximise Gross Margin Monthly and Quarterly Performance Reports for SEAA submissions Ensure the minimize Business Wate to deliver Business Targets Assess economic market trend and other indicators to determine efficient ways of operating. Identify operational efficiencies and improve processes. Value partner for business cases including investment project, innovations cost model review Strategically support SC stakeholders to achieve purposeful cost agendas. Drive impactful decision with Business units through high quality insights and analytics. Development & Capability Building of Team Inventory Control Decision Making Support Partner with Supply Chain to understand and apply the drivers of growth model. Engage with Partners on key business issues, ensure aggregate plans align with Unilever strategy/targets and make recommendations. Constructively challenge, engage business partner on key business issues & make recommendations. Constructively challenge partners on S&OP risks & opportunities and quality of plan Deliver sharper analytics and challenge for improved S&OP/forecast (accuracy / bias ) Information management Leverage external information (retailer, competitor go-to market analyses) to derive go-to-market insights/actions Use information to drive insights to improve business performance.
