We are seeking a motivated and experienced Engineer to join our team working on a significant electricity project in Mandalay, Myanmar. You will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring they adhere to project specifications, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for the project, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Independently prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and other technical documents using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Conduct thorough site surveys and inspections to assess electrical requirements and identify potential challenges.
• Perform complex calculations to determine appropriate equipment sizing, cable selection, and system capacity.
• Manage the procurement process for electrical materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Oversee and supervise the installation of electrical systems by contractors, guaranteeing adherence to designs and safety protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive inspections and testing of electrical systems to verify functionality, safety, and performance.
• Author and maintain technical reports and project documentation for future reference.
• Effectively troubleshoot and resolve any electrical system issues that may arise.
• Stay current on the latest electrical codes and standards applicable to Myanmar's electricity sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in electrical design and implementation for construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations in Myanmar.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant electrical design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on finding efficient solutions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluency in English languages.
