An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and submission of quarterly and annual tax returns, such as commercial tax, corporate income tax, and other taxes as required.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to tax matters, including financial statements, tax filings, and correspondence with tax authorities.
Monitor changes to Myanmar tax laws and regulations, evaluating their implications for the organization and communicate any updates to finance director.
Update internal tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance with new requirements.
Coordinate with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related information.
Deal with government tax office and officer.
Assist with all tax-related issues by coordinating with government officials as needed.
Provide training and guidance to staff on tax-related matters as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in taxation, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of Myanmar tax laws and procedures.
Excellent understanding of MS Office and accounting software.
Ability to visit the tax office as necessary.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
