Welcome home from working in Singapore

Following our Myanmar Job Fair in Singapore last weekend, we look forward to greeting those Myanmar nationals who have successfully secured new careers in Myanmar and will return home very soon.

Over 3,000 Myanmar nationals attended the Job Expo in Singapore, designed to attract them to return to new careers back home in Myanmar.  JobNet.com.mm held the event at Raffles City Convention Centre last weekend, July 14–July 15.

The event featured top Myanmar companies needing to fill around 2,500 job opportunities available in a range of industries. These included RMA Myanmar, MPT, CB Bank, CDSG, KBZ Bank, Wilmar, YOMA, PMG, My World, Executive Search, Myanmar Net, MPRL E&P, Young Investment Company, Yoma Land, Wave Money and La Sources.

 

According to data from JobNet.com.mm, the most in-demand jobs in Myanmar include those for sales, marketing and public relations, information technology, engineering in all disciplines, human resources, accounting, administration and manufacturing.

Speaking at the event, General Manager of MPT human resources department, Mr. Takashi Ozawa said “We are seeking to fill over 50 positions and the event in Singapore put us in touch with Myanmar people, with the skills and experience that we need.”

Chief Executive Officer of JobNet.com.mm, Mr. Justin Sway said that, JobNet collaborated with local top companies to hold this job fair, as the return of Myanmar’s labour talent will strongly support the nation’s economy and further development.

Mr. Sway Quoted, “We believe that, the fundamental of the state of the economy is directly proportional with continued human resources development. That is why we have arranged to hold this job fair.”
