Over 3,000 Jobseekers have attended the 2020 Mandalay JobNATION, the biggest career fair in Mandalay powered by JobNet.com.mm and the first to feature JobNet’s Digital CV ID technology. The event was a one-day extravaganza held at Hotel Marvel on 23rd February 2020 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and many top companies presented at the event by looking for potential new candidates to fill hundreds of job positions in the upper region of Myanmar.

During the biggest 2020 digital career fair in Mandalay held by JobNet.com.mm, the entire job application processes was carried out by utilizing JobNet’s digital technology, and paper documents were no longer needed to be brought to the career fair; saving time and resources for all. Participating companies included both local and international organizations of all sizes displaying QR codes at their booths; which led directly to companies’ profile where job seekers could view opening positions and share their JobNet’s digital CVs directly with the employers at their fingertips.

Employers collected job seekers’ information for follow up, which includes importing digital CVs directly into their JobNet CRM database for their further hiring processes. Unlike other traditional job fairs, Mandalay JobNATION 2020 helped the employers be able to seamlessly collect digital job applications, and JobNet’s Applicant Tracking System supports the hiring processes more effectively and efficiently as it reduces time spent with administrative tasks and provides better and faster CV Screening.

Htet Min Aung, Human Resources Director of Ooredoo Myanmar, said “In the past, we had to manually collect their CVs in boxes when we had Job Expo. Then we had to carry back those boxes and sort CVs again into jobs that we need to hire after the career fairs. Now, we just need to scan their QR codes and we can store their Digital CVs automatically in our database. We do not need to collect and sort paper CVs anymore. JobNet’s digital career fair is very effective and efficient for us.”

A job seeker from the event, Thuzar Aung, a graduate from Mandalay University of Foreign Languages, shared her first experience of a Digital Career Fair in Mandalay, “I did not need to worry about my physical CV documents when coming to the event this morning to be able to apply jobs. Today, I do not even need to bring my CVs in paper. With my smartphone, I can share my digital CV by showing my JobNet QR code with all of the companies that I am interested to work for. I even had chances to talk directly with the hiring persons from the companies.”
