Fpr Financial Institution Department

• Acts as point of contact for establishing mutual banking facilities with other banking counterparties. Banking counterparties include offshore foreign banks, representative offices of foreign banks, onshore foreign banks, international development banks and local banks.
• Assumes Head of F.I (IC) responsibilities while he or she is away
• Assists Head of F.I with different projects
• Performs ad hoc duties as directed by IC and the senior management
• Develops and maintains FI specific standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Trains and mentors junior staff
• Prepares and maintains monthly internal reports
• Assists business planning for FI Department
• Develops relationships matrix to share with Corporate Banking Department
• Attends seminars and preparing reports in relation to the seminars for knowledge sharing
• Liaises and organizes client meetings and seminars
• Liaises with internal departments (product teams) and learning their functions

Job Requirements

• Qualifications in Business, Finance or Marketing (Bachelor Degree minimum, Master Degree preferred).
• Prior experience in Financial Institutions or Corporate Banking highly desirable
• Ability to create and maintain working relationships, especially with partner banks.
• Ability to network with people of different backgrounds
• Ability to speak and write functional English. Skills in written business English (emails) are much appreciated. Additional languages besides English are highly valued.
• Ability to work independently and also as part of the team – flexibility
• Ability to learn, absorb, translate and present new information
• Flexibility to attend business and social events (evenings involved) for networking.
• Flexibility to travel domestically and abroad as part of work
• A friendly and relaxed, yet professional attitude towards work and colleagues.
