Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Overall governing and controlling of the financials of Myanmar College
2. Ensure all legal / statutory Local law compliance for all aspects of Myanmar College
3. Handle monthly closing of the accounts and sending them to Singapore for consolidation
4. Plan, budget and forecast financial numbers for Myanmar College
5. Liaise with the external auditors and close the annual accounts independently
6. Manage DSO and DPO , review of the procurement and other policies to ensure smooth operation and maintain good corporate governance and internal controls
7. Review of financial policies and procedures for continuous improvement
8. Liaise with other departments to ensure the financial close and operations is smooth and un-interrupted
9. Ensure all relevant local other statutory guidance, rules and law are complied with
10. Answer queries and follow up with operational issues and act as a business partner to various business units and external parties
11. Assist the CEO Myanmar and VP Finance Singapore in all the additional and adhoc reports / projects that may be given from time to time
12. Assist in other operational duties as assigned by Reporting Officer
13. Oversee HR matters and provide guidance to HR team

Requirements

Min Education Qualification
Entry level required of incumbent to perform in the job
At least a ACCA or CPA with good hands-on experience in handling the finance of Myanmar local company.
Any hands-on knowledge of accounting software like Navision or Oracle or SAP would be helpful.

Min Years of Experience
Indicate clearly the type of experience required
6 years relevant working experience, with at least 3 years of relevant managerial experience in Myanmar.
Experience in HR will be added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
E.g. Interpersonal skills, ability to work under stress etc.
• Knowledge of Myanmar Law and Singapore law relating to HR and Finance
• Results and service-oriented individual who possess initiative and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
• Confident, well organized , meticulous, numerate and possess good time management
• Efficient, enthusiastic and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude

Other Requirements
E.g. Willing to work shift hours etc.

Ready to work in Myanmar and stationed there on Local terms
