The latest cutting edge technology for road surfacing has now arrived in Myanmar, the company has sole distribution rights in Myanmar and is looking to transform the road networks and more. This is a startup company with possibly one of the most exciting projects happening in country currently. The aim of the company is to transform all of the dirt roads to a sustainable hard surface capable of supporting the heaviest of vehicles using environmentally friendly materials which are completely biodegradable.
The company is looking for a Head of Logistics to join an already existing team in Yangon to manage importation and distribution of a polymer road surfacing solution. This role will require you to be extremely organised and dedicated as the projects are executed in the dry season and so you only have one chance to get everything done.

Responsibilities;
• Manage port authorities and shipping agents to import and distribute
• Ensure smooth importation of a polymer into Myanmar
• Distribution of the correct solution to different project sites around the country
• Manage importation of other chemicals into Myanmar dependent on order volume
• Work alongside the Chief Technical Engineer to ensure the correct solutions are being ordered
• Organise the smooth delivery of products to different sites on time and to budget

Requirements;
• Educated to a degree level preferably in logistics
• Logistics experience in Myanmar
• Having a good contact book for port authorities and shipping agents
• Having a good contact book for distributors in Myanmar
• Understanding the risks involved in the smooth delivery of products across the country
• Preferably international experience
• Fluent in Burmese and English
