A Great Opportunity for ...

The Director, Legal will advise DKSH’s country management on all legal matters, including corporate/commercial/intellectual property (IP)/competition/litigation/employment/merger and acquisition laws, as well as governmental/administrative proceedings (incl. any legal developments). The successful candidate will also be responsible for all legal documentation requirements (contractual documents, permits, rental agreement, etc.) applicable to the company and the resolution of legal matters related to governance/compliance/code of business ethics/corporate social responsibility, etc. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with external legal advisors/legal community to keep up-to-date with laws, regulations and best practices is another key responsibility of this role.

Job Requirements

Degree in law from a top-tier university in Myanmar or abroad (honors)
Admission to Myanmar bar
High fluency in English and Myanmar language, both oral and written
Minimum two years of experience in a similar role
Minimum five years of experience in practicing law in a top-tier law firm with business law orientation in Myanmar or abroad or in the in-house legal department of a private company
