Job Description

- Demonstrate HR initiatives in business operations and functions as well as act as a focal person in HR related issues of the respective BU

- Initiate, manage and monitor as a business partner in BU’s HR programs like engagement, performance management and retention programs to achieve business objectives with operational efficiency

- Manage BU’s training programs and employees’ development programs to ensure the development of employees’ performance like training need analysis, functional skill training, leadership training, etc. in align with the BU’s strategy and objectives to achieve the positive business results

- Assist and advice on BU's decisions on short-/long-term HR initiatives in line with company’s as well as BU’s business direction, strategy and objectives

- Maintain strong relationship with employees at all levels of BU to ensure positive work environment, and manage employee relationship

- Arrange and lead Exit interviews and report the response of the resigned employees to develop work environment and to achieve better employee engagement and retention

- Report and represent BU’s operational meetings as a HR representative and provide necessary advice concerning BU’s HR issues and setting up HR plan and strategy to support business decisions

- Drive implementation of tactical day-to-day HR processes across business operations as well as provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies, rules and regulations

- Develop/review talent management for critical leadership positions and develop talent readiness/transition strategies

- Manage HR departmental operating targets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable

- Develop and Assist in BU's HR strategies recruiting and planning strategies (e.g. forecasting, short-/medium-term manpower requirements, etc.) to align with, and meet, business demands and HR cost control

- Assist and Develop initiatives on organizational change to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization

- Execute performance management activities and provide feedback on performance improvements opportunities

- Propose market-driven/benchmark compensation decisions to drive employee performance, engagement and retention

- Manage deployment of HR services delivery, systems and work tools utilization to streamline work process across function in efficient and scalable manner

- Manage and oversee team's service delivery to the needs and requirements of the BU

- Provide strategic advice to the BU Management concerning HR related issues like manpower planning, engagement survey, performance appraisal and management, retention programs, learning and development programs

- Advice BU management and line managers to develop and be sure of the positive work environment

- Assist BU management in interpretation, delivering and enforcing HR Policies, guidelines, rules and regulations

Job Requirements

- Any degree with diploma in HRD and HRM

- Preferable master degree or post graduate in Business management/ administration or other business related disciplines

- Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role with minimum 2 year in the managerial capacity

- Having strong experience in HRD and HRM; preferably with previous HR Business partnering experience

- Demonstrate experience in developing and implementing HR strategies/initiatives to achieve business goals with tangible HR metrics

- Demonstrate understanding of the business and its environment, BU and its operations/ functions, its levers for growth, its change dynamics and critical success factors

- Demonstrate experience in analyzing complex data, understand business implications and make recommendations to the management team

- Demonstrate experience and knowledge in both strategic and tactical HR core functions

- Demonstrate proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

- Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)

- Strong analytical and problem solving skill

- Ability to show and apply leadership competencies

- Good interpersonal and communication skill

- Good negotiation skill and influencing skill in positive manner

- Able to travel
