• Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
• Prepare Monthly Procurement Plan.
• Control procurement department budgets.
• Develop and implement procurement and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying and storing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies.
• Interview, Identify and qualify potential new vendors or suppliers in order to secure more cost-effective sources of raw material/goods, transport services, shipping line/ forwarder (import – export).
• Monitor and guide Logistic department’s activities to make sure selecting/ Obtaining reasonable freight cost, good schedule and services, right time for per export shipment to meet customer requirements.
• Streamline supporting activities to make sure production/project working smoothly without interruption due to logistics bottleneck.
• Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
• Co-operate with FNC department to close book in ERP system on time.
• Develop and maintain the “list of approved suppliers “ and list of supplying sources for each material and/or service
• Process/verify transport and import – export activities.
• Conduct price analysis and provide inputs for “Price Matrix/ month”.
• Check and revise price trend of the materials, transport, import –export in Price Matrix monthly for Budget plan.
• Lead staffs to prepare and update all logistics reports (Inventory status report, price trend analysis, import–export report …).
• Responsible for procurement all materials and services (transportation, import-export) for projects required by the Factories and Customer Service Department of PEB.
• Maintain and update ERP system correctly and up-to-date.
• Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.
• Have right to give warning, suspension to subordinates who don’t execute the company regulations.
• Have right to organize the department and subordinate staffs in accordance with the department’s development plan
• Have right to suggest for new staff recruitment to ensure adequate manpower for department
• Have right to suggest for staff promotion/ rewards.
• Have right to accept or reject leave or permission based on the work load in the department.

- Engineering graduate, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
- Having knowledge of LC, imp-exp procedures and related legal documents.
- At least 4 years experience in procurement manager post.
- Have experience in construction materials/ pre- engineering building materials are preferred.
- Experience in using ERP system is preferable.
- Strong communication and negotiation skill.
- Good leadership skills.
- Good Command in English
- Good planning and analytical skills
