Product Manager VAS & Content at Multinational Telecom Company in Myanmar

o Innovate, create and develop VAS that will generate positive revenue and differentiate service offering
o Salary up to 2,500,000 kyats plus allowances and bonus

About the Company

Our client is one of the 3 telecom carriers in Myanmar. They have had extremely strong growth in Myanmar and offer excellent staff benefits and a good working environment.

The Role

Responsible for creating VAS to generate positive revenue and differentiate service offering including new service conception, putting up the product for approval and setting up the associated processes to make the product launch possible

• Full accountability of self-care development in any touchpoint and responsible in formulating entire customer journey which includes design of self-care UX and UI
• Ability to grab potential revenue and monetize usage from content and strategic partnership
• Identify and evaluate new content services in line with overall company direction to meet customers’ growing demands
• Understand business needs, gathering and defining detailed requirements

Job Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of work experience in related field
• Must have knowledge of VAS and Content technology platforms (ie. Service Delivery Platform – SDP, content aggregation, Shortcodes, WAP, SMSC, MMS, Messaging services, XML, USSD/UMB, HTTP/HTTPS)
• Must have experience of product development and management life cycles
• Must have knowledge of mobile data services and strong in data-centric VAS product
• BA/MA in Marketing/Computer Science/Telecommunication/Management
