The Sale Manager is expected to maximize advertising revenues from media agencies and clients through proactive sales activities. We are looking for a creative and highly motivated people manager that understand MY Yangon Journal and Myanmar's advertising market.
-Lead My Yangon's sale department to hit the targeted revenue
-Expand and maintain advertising base
-Identify opportunities for growth and new business
-Build strong relationships with key contacts from media agencies,maintaining a high level of contact via the telephone,email and meetings
-Adapt unique and relevant sales presentations & proposals to each sales opportunity to achieve the advertisers' objectives while increasing market share
-Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts
-An ability to understand Myanmar's advertising market and create new ideas to maximize revenue potential
-Working with Head of MY Yangon to devise sales strategies to ensure effective planning

Job Requirements

-2-3 years media sales experience in a print publication
-Publishing and online media sales experience (Big companies preferred)
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
-Experience in dealing with clients & media agencies (Higher levels preferred)
-Self-motivated,independent and driven
-Ability to work under pressure & show attention to detail and the journal deadline
-Must have a strong understanding of MY Yangon Journal and its vision
-Fluent in Myanmar,spoken English a big plus
-Flexible and able to work virtually
-Able to attend Yangon's exhibition events/Lifestyle events to procure new clients
