Job Description

A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

1. Ensures the availability of raw materials / ingredients, tools, and utensils before starting shift Production operations.

2. Acknowledges receipt of ingredients – dry and liquid ingredients from Batching section.

3. Checks functionality of machines, sets oven and mixer timer, oven temperature controller, and speed controller to desired parameters.

4. Monitors bakers and assistant bakers that they bake products following specified flow and in conformance with the prescribed process parameters and specifications.

5. Spot checks the unloading of products from the ovens and de-panning process of freshly baked goods.

6. Checks the quality of the baked products.

7. Conducts checking of segregating good products from rejects and ensuring that product quantities are properly documented.

8. Spot check the transfers of baked products subject for cooling in designated Cooling room.

9. Secures document transfer and acknowledgement from Baking to Packaging.

10. Conducts on-the-job training for new hires and provides orientation for the work place processes and parameters.

11. Relieves subordinates on their functions during their rest days and holidays.

12. Implements the “Clean As You Go” policy ensuring work place that is dry, clean, sanitized and organized before end of shift.

13. Collects and submits required reports, that is, Production Output Report.

14. Participates in monthly / annual physical inventory taking.

15. Performs other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge in Breads and Cake making.
• Must know the basic Mathematics and English.
• Ability to read and write.

Education and Experience
• Must be at least a high school graduate.
• Entry level position requiring work related experience.
