Job Description

 Oversee and manage all aspects of restaurant operations.
 Manage staff training, scheduling, appraisal & compensation where relevant.
 Monitor and implement agreed policies and procedures.
 Achieve operational objectives, contribute towards resolving problems, identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
 Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; assisting with preparation of annual budgets; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions when required.
 Direct menu planning by consulting with chefs; estimate food costs and profits; adjust menus where necessary.
 Evaluate food products to ensure that expected quality standards are consistently met.
 Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing hygiene standards and procedures in line with Crystal Jade guidelines and requirements.
 Maintain ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement; monitoring food presentation and service.

Job Requirements

 At least 8-10 years of proven experience in restaurant management.
 Well-developed knowledge of Chinese cuisine.
 Good written & spoken communication skills. English & ideally Mandarin.
 Good people management & planning skills. Computer literate.
 Enhanced Customer Service skills
 Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
