Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Insurance finance operations

  • Prepare insurance payment instructions and obtain payment authorisation to banks
  • Perform premium reconciliations and controls
  • Assist other functions (i.e. operations) in ensuring proper insurance finance procedures and controls

Expense management

  • Process vendor and staff payment and schedule disbursements
  • Prepare payment instructions and obtain payment authorisation to banks
  • Prepare statement of accounts for balances, including reconcile and investigate differences

Monthly-end closing and reporting

  • Perform bank reconciliation
  • Prepare month-end schedules, including reconcile and investigate differences
  • Assist in month-end and annual local and group closing process, including financial analysis review
  • Assist in statutory and group audit

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local and group accounting standards and tax requirements

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree in Business/Accounting

2-3 year work experience, preferably financial institutions

Knowledge of SUN GL accounting system would be a plus

Positive attitude towards learningHigh level of energy and resilience to thrive in a start-up environment

Good communication skill in English and Burmese
