Position Purpose ▪ The Acquisition Specialist is responsible for acquiring, onboarding and building relationships and supporting Wave Money Business Partners – Merchants, Billers etc. The role is responsible to reinforce Wave Money’s efforts of exploring new business opportunities and using analytics to drive Partner sales growth, increase Partner loyalty and improve the Partner & customer experience. The Acquisition Specialist will help identify, acquire and onboard partners – strategic merchants & billers to small businesses to deliver significant growth opportunities for Wave Money’s digital business. The Business Development Officer is also responsible for continuously surveying the market for newest technologies and trends around Merchant services, driving the incubation of ideas, determining technologies to implement, evangelizing solutions, creating proof of concepts, piloting and establishing solutions in partnership with Partners. Key Result Areas ▪ Onboarding and engaging offline and online Business Partners ▪ Maintaining long term relationship with existing partners and the potentials. ▪ Delivering increased sales and engagement across Business Partners – Merchants, Billers etc ▪ Analyze Business Partner Performance to generate insights to improve business & partner performance ▪ Create a personal and relevant Partner & Customer experience using Human Centered Design and Agile methodologies ▪ Establish a legacy of innovation and high performance within the Partner Program are of Wave Digital Business Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities ▪ Develop strategy to acquire different partners segments as business opportunities to achieve targets; ▪ Identify, build relationships/partnerships with merchant & biller partners and manage their performance and contribution to building the Wave Money partner ecosystem ▪ Engage in partner acquisition through developing necessary technical & commercial knowledge, communication transparency, winning spirit, fighting resilience and performance acknowledgement; ▪ Analyze partner needs and propose partner related initiatives - partner pricing & acquisition incentive framework ▪ Be accountable for partner’s full lifecycle - pitching, signing, onboarding and account management ▪ Keep abreast of the market and industry situation and competitor activity in order to revise and develop strategies to meet market changes and partners’ requirements; ▪ Develop and maintain a solid understanding of all Wave Money products and services ▪ Work with other team in Wave Money to align on a strong value proposition Key Performance and Success Indicators ▪ Promote: Wave Money’s partner growth in Myanmar: Creates networks and promotes initiatives with partner organizations, strengthen partnerships in the market and in country. ▪ Performance: Develop business model and strategies for WM Partners and to be operational within the set timeframe. ▪ Client focus and orientation: Anticipates constraints in the delivery of WM’s services and proactively identifies, develops and discusses solutions or alternatives for partners Results-based improvement and management: Identifies business strategies using a fact-based approach; Ensure effective operation of WM partner strategies and business sustainability; Pre-emptive business risks and constrains by setting out Policies and prevention plan; Conceptualizes more effective approaches to WM partner development and implementation and to mobilizing and using resources Key Stakeholders ▪ This position must communicate with various internal stakeholders such as Product, Technology, Finance, Operations etc to achieve the goals of Partners Program in the Digital Business.

Education and qualifications: ▪ University degree in Economics, International Relations, Business Administration and Management or other relevant fields. ▪ Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) ▪ Experience in handling of web-based management systems and advanced program for data analysis. Functional skills and knowledge areas: ▪ Change management and adaptability ▪ Demonstrated decision making capability ▪ Ability to drive customer behavior and provide excellent customer experience. ▪ Ability to lead strategic planning, results-based management and reporting Language Requirements: ▪ Fluent in English and Myanmar
