ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will be responsible to provide leadership and direction to the team and actuarial support to ensure smooth operations of the company.
• Manage and conduct pricing for new products and collaborate with Finance department for regulatory and regional product filing.
• Manage actuarial reporting e.g. valuation of policy liabilities and capital.
• Prepare and set up actuarial valuation models and processes for internal and external reporting, including regulatory reports.
• Provide technical support for actuarial and product matters, including on reinsurance.
• Closely liaise with the regulator and industry participants to keep updated with the latest developments in regulations and industry practice.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial, Statistics, Mathematics or related discipline.
• Good progress with actuarial examinations.
• At least 5 years of experience in insurance industry, with pricing and/ or valuation experience.
• Self-starter who is able to work independently.
• Flexible, able to adapt and problem-solve when faced with uncertainties.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Strong financial modelling skills in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Prophet is a plus.
