Thalun International School is seeking a dynamic, energetic and creative individual to bring our Admissions department to the next level in a period of rapid change. The Admissions and Marketing Manager will report to the Director and be responsible for establishing and executing a multi-faceted recruiting strategy that takes into account potential students and parents.Description:The Admissions and Marketing Manager is a key member of the School Office staff who recruits students, counsels students and parents regarding the admissions process, and promotes the school and the admissions process through marketing and social media strategies. Candidates should enjoy working in a dynamic and innovative team approach to recruitment and be goal oriented, organized, and capable of thinking strategically.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdmissions: -Create and manage the School’s recruitment communication plan, counsel prospective students regarding the admissions process, admissions application processing, and transcript evaluation.-Meet with prospective students and families to counsel them on completing entry requirements, discuss academic programs and financial aid opportunities, and conduct campus tours.-Meet or exceed enrollment goals for assigned area.-Follow up with prospects and applicants by phone, email, and direct mail correspondence.-Develop and implement effective outreach strategies and partnerships to support enrollment objectives.-Evaluate candidate applications to ensure admissions standards are met.Marketing & Social Media: -Develop and implement recruitment and marketing strategies to attract and matriculate new students within a specified area.-Manage digital platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Webinars, and other online means.-Assist in the development and management of content on the school’s social media platforms.-Assist in the production of effective and frequent and frequent content that includes photos, videos, student/faculty information, daily student life, large campus events, etc. for posting to social media platforms.-Assist with related duties as assigned by the Director.
-Ability to communicate clearly and make a positive impression on prospective students and their parents.-Ability to understand and present essential information about the school and its programs.-Sensitivity and commitment to issues of access and inclusion.-Experience in devising and executing marketing and communications campaigns.-Expertise in managing social media platforms.-Background in an educational or academic management environment would be helpful.-Some evening and weekend work is required as well as limited travel.-Ability to communicate clearly and fluently in English and Myanmar.

Founded in 2016 in Yangon, Thalun International School (Thalun) is a private college preparatory school for PKG to G12 students. The language of instruction is English, and the school follows a US standards based curriculum guided by American Education Reaches Out (AERO).
