On behalf of our Client, a well-known Food Stuff Industry Company, we are looking for an Agriculture Specialist to be based at their sites in Sagaing Region, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervises morning muster records the daily attendance of workers and staffs and arranges daily operation
• Ensures work is carried out by workers as per required standard and supervises subordinates in line with instructions given.
• Researches the cane seed and insects.
• Guides subordinates on the requirement of work standards, discipline and expected output from workers.
• Inspects and assess job standard of each operation, relevant VRA, and implements
• Monitors and reports costing of work carried out
• Prepares and reports on incentives of workers as per management approval
• Maintains and updates statistics of the respective operation
• Trains and develops subordinates to improve skills

Job Requirements

Job Requirements
• Master of Agricultural Science or Bachelor of Agricultural Science
• Relevant experience
• Fair English communication skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
• Very good computer skills
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with research scientists, administrative personnel, and fellow employees.
• Ability to maintain appropriate records and to prepare reports.
• Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of subordinate personnel.
• Considerable knowledge of modern agricultural methods and experimental farming practices.
• Considerable knowledge of farm equipment, materials, and maintenance techniques.
• Thorough knowledge of plant and cattle diseases and of prevention and cure methods.
