On behalf of our Client, a well-known construction consultancy, we are looking for Architects to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

•Performs duties assigned by Architectural Team Leader/ Design Manager/ Design Director.
•Undertakes architectural, schematic and concept design for assigned projects, with the ability to undertake design details (windows, doors etc) including preliminary design calculations, preliminary sketches/drawings, preliminary specifications and other required design information.
•Liaises with engineers and other disciplines to ensure coherent and correct, as well as aesthetically pleasing design.
•Makes amendments to the design as required.
•Undertakes detailed design work on projects as required, and fully check and ensure designs are properly validated as per the approved design process.
•Undertakes site visits as required.
•Undertakes quality assurance checking of drawings and calculations produced by self and that of other team members as directed by Team Leader/Design Manager.
•Ensures that all drawings are reviewed and checked by Team Leader/Design Manager prior to external issue.
•Produces architectural design briefs, documents, reports and specifications as required.
•Produces architectural drawings utilizing Revit and/or AutoCad as appropriate for the project.
•Follows Company’s design procedures.

•Degree (qualified) in Architecture.
•Years of experience: Level I: Minimum of 1 Year post graduate experience; Level II: Minimum 3 Years Post Graduate Experience; Level III: Minimum of 5 Years Post Graduate Experience: Level IV: Minimum of 7 Years Post Graduate Experience
•Previous experience working within an architectural design company.
•Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to self-manage billable hours and ability to undertake own work with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
•Advanced knowledge of AutoCad and Revit.
•Intermediate knowledge of Design Standards in Asia and in Europe.
•Excellent written and spoken communication skills with a basic understanding of English
