• Work with other engineers and architects who focus on functional layout or aesthetics of building projects.
• Middle man for connecting the architectural design and construction team
• Analyze building or system prototypes submitted by architects in order to increase efficiency, decrease costs, and enforce adherence of building codes and compliance issues.
• Must evaluate proposed electrical systems to ensure occupational safety and assess window costs.
• Approve architectural designs provided by third party and negotiate with construction team on how to implement such designs
• Must inspect project site on a daily basis
• Apply engineering principles to the construction, planning, and design of buildings and other structures.
• Responsible for the different systems within a building, structure, or complex.
• Diagram designs manually as well as through computer-aided drafting (CAD).
• Check systems within a building pertaining to, for instance, heating and air conditioning, lighting and plumbing

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience
• Good understanding of interior construction material
• Good sense of aesthetics
• Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks on time
• Hands-on experience with using engineering software such as AutoCAD
• Good communication skills
