Job Description

General Purpose of the Position -The Assistant Centre Manager is responsible for providing operational support to the Centre Manager to ensure growth, profitability, and
safety of assigned site.
Principal Accountabilities -Record and prepare government monthly bills of MEPE, Water, phone and prepare the monthly consumption of diesel for generator
- Conduct twice a month site patrols to all areas within the Centre and to the Centre Manager, Safety Team, Facility Management team or
Centre Operations Head Office team as appropriate.
-Check the record of daily customer complaints and instruct to concerned departments for prompt action.
-Lead and communicate with team members and contractors once renovation for new tenant has been completed and site has been
handed over to them.
-Check the monthly bills of all tenants and submit to Centre Manger for review and approval
-Review and take action for delayed payments according to credit report from the Finance team.
-Review lease expiration dates and use Re-Certification/Renewal Process checklist to deliver notices; allowing adequate time to schedule
an appointment with the tenant to review and sign the new lease.
-Check with team members and site inspection staff for guests who enquire potential new shop leasing.
-Cooperate with the Centre Manager to collect relevant data and prepare for monthly Centre Manager meetings.
-Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial and operational records.
-Take full responsibility and accountability for the Centre in the absence of the Centre Manager.

Job Requirements

Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (E)
Knowledge
- Excellent commercial awareness and retail knowledge (E)
- Working knowledge of safety, firefighting and first aid procedures (E)
Experience
- Minimum two years’ experience in hospitality field or customer service industry as management role; leading and managing multiple teams in a shopping Centre or retail mall (E)
Skills and personal qualities
- Inspirational and innovative leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to develop and motivate others (E)
- Ability to plan and priorities workloads, and delegate accordingly (E)
- Strong customer orientation and attention to detail (E)
- Able to speak and write English and Myanmar (E)
- Able to communicate effectively with internal staff, tenants, shoppers and external agencies including relevant government departments (E)
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Word and Excel, and preferably QuickBooks (E)
- Able to resolve complaints from tenants and shoppers in a timely and effective manner (E)
- Confident, self-motivated, innovative and capable to work under pressure (E)
- Able to work collaboratively with other staff and departments (E)
- Able to work flexibly and in an organized manner.
