PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Role Outputs, Management Control and Governance Responsibilities)
Provides specialist financial advice, guidance and expertise to assist in the provision of a value added, commercially focussed finance business partnering service:
• Deliver high quality financial information and advice for business units
• Developing insightful financial and commercial analysis showing the financial implications of decisions
• Assist in the preparation of business cases, budget and investment proposals
• Support the development of strong financial and commercial awareness within business units and challenge business managers to improve performance
• Implement best practice planning and control techniques in line with business needs
• Coordinate with other finance specialists as required

CORE RELATIONSHIPS
Internal:
• Business unit managers –credible and strong working relationship. Act as trusted business advisor in order to challenge and support the business to improve overall performance
• Financial control - collaborate to provide end to end finance delivery for regions / areas / end markets
• Finance Shared Services Centre - collaborate closely with Finance Shared Service centres to provide high quality, timely management information to the business
• IT / Project Management – work together to deliver changes / improvements

External:
• External Service Providers (e.g. Supplier / Agencies etc) – maintain supplier relationships

Job Requirements

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE
• Degree educated with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment .
• Broad experience in large global organisation with in depth knowledge in specific FMCG process areas
• Influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation, commercial acumen,
• Simplifying complex situations, synthesise, communicate and present complex information
• Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative and consultative
