  • Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities, products and/or services.
  • Organize and direct conferences, public relations events, press conferences, and presentations.
  • Serve as point of contact for media; establish and maintain effective relationships with journalists, and maintain a media database.
  • Maintain records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics.
  • Monitor the company’s social media and online presence.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience.
  • Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand, and coordinate publicity events as required.
  • Manage conflict as it arises and escalate to management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Public Relations or Journalism.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a communications role.
  • Must have excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and people management.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.
