Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

You will be responsible for all airfreight export & import shipments.

• Handle job properly in order to smooth transportation until job finished.
a. Check the space and connection for each booking to meet customers requirement and also fit with our selling rates
b. Send pre-advice to destination, (if necessary) call & get their confirmation in time and reply customer
c. Arrange booking with carriers
• Choose the best carrier to increase profitability of prepaid shipment.
• Handle actual airfreight operation at the airport
• Prepare documentation, including issuing HAWB, MAWB as well as issuing invoices local/overseas and send them in time
• Communicate with oversea offices for any shipping instruction, selling rates, invoices - until jobs has been finished
• Track and Trace of shipment arrival, informed to customers/oversea offices in case of any changes, delay.
• Follow up invoices from agent and BKK office, check and approve for all AE shipments handled
• Check any invoice coming in (freight +on forwarding + NC + overriding + profit share)
• Fill up accounting sheet for each job for A/C for easy reference
• Book NC and overriding.
• Prepare monthly statistic for all AE shipments
• Co-ordinate with other colleagues and help each other where necessary
• Ensure quality of all data.
a. Review and ensure that accrual of income and cost are properly prepared in good quality and timely manner.
b Ensure that the completed jobs are closed within 6 moths after last invoicing date.

Additional –

• Visit existing customers to get other buyer's names and information.
• Send sales-leads to concerned destination offices and follow up until the end
• Inform market situation to Branch Manager.
• Handel SE(FCL) for the client who relative AE.
a. booking arrangement, issuing documents (HB/L, SWB), Correspondence, issuing invoices
b. Go and see Hanging Equipment at the port when necessary.
• Handling all airfreight import shipment.
a. Follow up with carrier till shipment at port of discharge then inform to consignee
b. Follow up with consignee until cargo in their hands and report back to origin country if necessary.
c. Monitor update import customs procedure
d. Inform update customs procedure to all relevant offices.
• Sometime helping for PE shipment (survey, packing, custom clearance at airport) if necessary.
• Handel other jobs as assigned by Senior Managers.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in any field
• Minimum 5 years in airfreight
• Service minded with detail oriented
• Good problem solving and negotiation skills
• Good team work skills and strong self-motivation
• Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Proficient in English
• Computer literacy in Word, Excel, etc.
