An Exciting Opportunity for ...

• Initiate, manage and monitor as a business partner in BU’s P & O programs like engagement, performance management and retention programs to achieve business objectives with operational efficiency
• Develop, manage and monitor training and development budget/costs to optimize usage of budget against development strategies
• Develop and implement a training and development framework and approach, ensuring that it stays relevant to the organization's needs
• Highlight critical development needs and advice on specific departmental development solutions. Formulate short- and long-term company-wide training and development strategies to cater for development needs
• Introduce and implement Fantree Academy training catalogues and programs in line with the global framework and requirements
• Manage and oversee the implementation of development strategies, communication plans, training programs, etc., in catering to country-wide development needs.
• Deliver training modules, where needed
• Monitor and evaluate the overall implementation of development strategies, communication plans, training modules, trainers, etc., to measure execution effectiveness. Recommend and implement key improvement areas
• Monitor and evaluate employee post-training effectiveness (e.g. competency gaps closed, application of skills, etc.) to measure country-wide training effectiveness and outcomes
• Lead and manage training and development projects to enhance country-wide employee learning platforms (e.g. learning management system, etc.)
• Evaluate and select vendors/trainers (internal and external) to ensure effective and quality execution of training initiatives/programs
• Manage BU’s training programs and employees’ development programs to ensure the development of employees’ performance like training need analysis, functional skill training, leadership training, etc. in align with the BU’s strategy and objectives to achieve the positive business results
• Lead the interactions with internal stakeholders on performance review, development strategies, communication plans, customized development plans and training platforms, etc., to ensure stakeholder needs are met
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with external vendors/trainers as part of maintaining sustainability of services provided
• Develop and implement performance management policies, procedures and processes to govern the organization's performance management activities
• Develop and implement performance management tools, templates, communication guides, etc. Educate line managers to ensure effective usage and buy-in
• Facilitate and educate line managers in setting key performance indicators and targets in line with the organization's business objectives to enhance the quality of key performance indicators and targets set
• Manage the performance review cycle, activities (e.g. communication/briefings, self and manager reviews, callibration discussions, etc.) and reporting to senior management as an input to yearly payout decisions
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the performance management framework, activities, tools and templates via employee feedback to enhance service quality to stakeholders
• Manage special projects/initiatives to enhance the performance management framework and activitsies (e.g. simplifying approach/tools, etc.) to continuously improve solutions to stakeholders

• Lead the interactions with internal stakeholders on performance review activities, key performance indicator and target setting, communications, etc., to ensure stakeholder needs are met
• Arrange and lead exit interviews and report the response of the resigned employees to develop work environment and to achieve better employee engagement and retention
• Develop/review talent management for critical leadership positions and develop talent readiness/transition strategies
• Manage P&O departmental operating targets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
• Execute performance management activities and provide feedback on performance improvements opportunities
• Manage deployment of P&O services delivery, systems and work tools utilization to streamline work processes across functions in efficient and scalable manner
• If necessary, involve in the Group P & O projects and initiatives

• Manage and oversee team’s service delivery to the needs and requirements of the organization in terms of learning and development, performance management and engagement
• Provide strategic advice to the BU management concerning P& O related issues like engagement survey, performance appraisal and management, retention programs, learning and development programs

Job Requirements

• Any degree holder;
• Preferable master degree or post graduate in Business management/ administration, HRM/ HRD or other business related disciplines
• Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role with minimum 2 year in the managerial capacity
• Having strong experience in HRD and HRM; preferably with previous HR generalist experience
• Demonstrate experience in developing and implementing P & O strategies/initiatives to achieve business goals with tangible P & O metrics
• Demonstrate understanding of the business and its environment, BU and its operations/ functions, its levers for growth, its change dynamics and critical success factors
• Demonstrate experience in analyzing complex data, understand business implications and make recommendations to the management team
• Demonstrate experience and knowledge in both strategic and tactical P & O core functions; preferable having knowledge in project management
• Strong experience in providing trainings (able to facilitate trainings both to the locals and expats) and good knowledge of trainers and training centers
• Demonstrate proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skill
• Willing to learn and share the knowledge/ information
• Ability to show and apply leadership competencies
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
• Good negotiation skill and influencing skill in positive manner
• Able to travel
