OVERALL PURPOSE
As part of Yoma Bank’s Treasury team, this role has a direct reporting to the Head of Treasury. This FX dealer will be executing Yoma Bank’s Treasury business strategy with a view to achieve targeted FX Profit and volume. He/she will work closely with Treasury Front Office team at Yoma Bank’s Head Office and FX targeted customers to develop and maintain new relationships & act as the main point of contact. The person will initially focus on the Foreign Exchange related products and transactions’ flow with customers for the first 6 months before progressing further in the team.

DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 To ensure the bank’s compliance with external regulations and covenants related to the bank’s foreign exchange currency activity and exposures.
 To achieve the target of FX volume, profit and customers.
 To sell FX related products and services to targeted clients, identifying and successfully capitalizing on cross-sell opportunities and making appropriate referrals.
 To gather and analyzes all necessary FX related news and able to respond quickly FX market conditions to customers time to time.
 Develops and manages a portfolio of major customer relationships by providing consultative advice, FX products, and services to meet customer needs. Responsible for increasing the number of major relationships and total profitability of assigned portfolio.
 Revolves around relationship building, idea generation, strategic business discussion, FX risk management, industry observations, and other matters of elevated importance.
 Resolves unusual or non-routine inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
 Must be highly experienced in FX risks, able to read, interpret, and understand financial statements, and capable of strategic thinking to add value to a diverse set of companies within the portfolio.
 To develop risk management models, forecasts, risk tolerances, buffers, metrics and contingency planning related to the bank’s foreign currency activity.
 To ensure for checking the updated FX rates timely and substantiate the profit and loss from the Foreign Exchange transactions
 Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills
Essential
• Good local relationship with local/foreign business communities.
• Good knowledge in Treasury products (especially FX related products).
• Excellent communication skills (Excel, PowerPoint &Email) &analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with ability to coordinate with product partners and support functions.
• Ability to work autonomously & capacity to take pressure and deliver business objectives, complete task deadline and prioritize workload are some key traits of a successful candidate.

Education & Special Training
Essential
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related areas.
• Basic accounting knowledge is a plus.

Experience
Essential
• 4 to 5 years’ experience in the banking (Treasury) or investment field within Local or International Financial Institutions.
• Sales experience.

Languages
Essential
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
