ROLE PURPOSE
The primary focus of this role is to support the YOMA Bank’s Sales, Service Division with critical business analysis – data and customer driven. The successful candidate will turn business requirements into solvable solutions and provide insights that will enable management to make critical business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a business analyst, you will work within an organization, helping to manage change across several projects and plan for the future in line with company goals. Ability to understand the current organizational situation, identify future needs and create solutions to help meet those needs, usually (but not always) in relation to information and software systems are critical to this role.

KEY ACCOUNT ABILITIES:
• Communicate with internal business unites to understand the needs of departments and the organization as a whole.
• Work with both stakeholders and customers to understand and investigate feedback into the service/function/product provided.
• Use data modeling practices to analyze your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.
• Consider the opportunities and potential risks attached to the suggestions made.
• Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce recommendations.
• Communicate the benefits of your recommendations across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern.
• Produce written documentations – business requirement, technical requirement, UAT test scripts, business proposition, standard operations procedures, etc. –
and present them to appropriate audience when necessary.
• Support the staff and teams in making the recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues.
• Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on
this evaluation

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Knowledge & Skills
Essential
• Ability to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions.
• Good understanding of statistical analysis.
• A good understanding of information technology and key infrastructure components such as databases, servers, and other parts of the stack.
• Must have excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach.
• A strong interest in business and business development
• Excellent competency in computer (MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.) and presentation skills.
• Able to execute and manage multiple initiatives and deliverables simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Creative, analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities, which include the ability to make independent decisions, while knowing when to bring certain matters to the attention of management.
• A high energy, self-motivated individual, who can work under pressure on multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams with minimal supervision to deliver resultswithin your project timeframes.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and integrity.
• The ability to motivate others and lead change.
• A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills and the capability to interact with all levels of staff and with external vendors.
• Flexible and available for a regular work and non-regular work (evenings and weekends) schedule as needed.

Education & Special Training
Essential
• Completion of tertiary qualifications in a business or related field such as Bachelor of Business, Management, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or industry specific qualifications.

Experience
Essential
• Previous experience in banking industry with product focused role is highly desired
Desirable
• Experience in the business analysis is a plus

Languages
Essential
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both Myanmar and English languages, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences.
