PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of Yoma Bank’s Corporate Banking team, this role reports to the Senior Relationship Manager of North Yangon Corporate Banking. This Corporate Banker will be executing Yoma Bank’s corporate banking business strategy with a view to achieve targeted revenue budgets. He/she will work closely with various teams at Yoma Bank’s Head Office and Branches to develop and maintain new strategic banking relationships & act as the main point of contact for corporate clients in North Yangon.

Skills/Experience Required
 Minimum 3 years prior experience in Myanmar commercial or corporate banking segment.
 Basic credit assessment for commercial or corporate businesses.
 Fluent in English (written and spoken).
 Good local relationship with local business communities.
 Good knowledge of local regulatory environment.
 Good knowledge in various corporate banking products.
 Excellent communication skills (written, spoken, email, PowerPoint).
 Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with ability to coordinate with product partners and support functions.
 Ability to work autonomously & capacity to take pressure and deliver business objectives, complete task deadline and prioritize workload are some key traits of a successful candidate.
 Professionalism, maturity and self management.
 Understanding of business, industry and credit risk. This includes the ability to formulate strategies to prevent/ manage deteriorating credit.
 Sales experience.
 Attention to detail, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, pro-activity.
 Ability to understand businesses and the investigative skills to probe the factors affecting their performance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
 Market and develop a proactive business relationship with corporate businesses in Yangon.
 Maintain and develop new profitable and strategic bank relationships.
 Act as the main point of contact with counterparty banks.
 Support the product and operations teams in facilitating resolution for bank clients.
 Identify and develop cross functional product business opportunities.
 Training & development of junior support staff (if applicable).
