ROLE PURPOSEThe primary focus of this role is to work with different business user groups to understand the business requirements and document the requirements in details. The person will act point of contract (POC) from the business unit and bridge between business user and technical team. And also this role is to involve in developing reports/dashboards and insights about products, trends and other key indicators around customer behaviour that will enable management to make business decisions. RESPONSIBILITIESGather user requirements and document the requirements in details and bridge between business unit and technical team. Develop standard reports and performance dashboards.Involve in user acceptance testing and get the sign off/confirmation from business users. Perform in-depth analysis on products, customer segments, market, etc. Mining, gathering and processing of data as well as translating it into compelling graphics and clear narrative.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:• Gather the user requirements and document the business requirements in details and bridge between business unit and technical team. • Act as a Point of Contact (POC) from business.• Develop standard reports and performance dashboards to ensure they deliver effective support to business needs, improve visibility to business performance and enable effective decision making.• Involve in user acceptance testing and get the sign off/confirmation from business users.• Involve in project initiatives in the bank. • Provide ad-hoc / special reports of high quality to different stakeholders and support them in their decision making.• Address the business questions raised by various business units by sound and thorough analysis and to come up with recommendations.• Collect feedbacks from relevant parties and perform analysis to ensure business and other requirements are met.• Help implement next generation of data warehouse systems if required.• Work closely with data team, support, DBA and business teams.• Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to deliver results while meeting deadlines.
Knowledge & SkillsEssential• Able to execute and manage multiple initiatives and deliverables simultaneously while meeting deadlines.• Creative, analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities, which include the ability to make independent decisions, while knowing when to bring certain matters to the attention of management.• Excellent under pressure and can adapt quickly in an evolving environment.• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities.• Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills and the capability to interact with all levels of staff and with external vendors• Guide and assist, if needed, junior members in performing their tasks to ensure consistent understanding and ability to perform tasks.• Flexible and available for a regular work and non-regular work (evenings and weekends) schedule as needed• Good in Data interpretation and qualitative skills. • Excellent competency in computer (MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.) and presentation skills• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and integrity.• A high energy, self-motivated individual, who can collaborate with cross-functional teams with minimal supervision to deliver results.Education & Special TrainingEssential• Completion of tertiary qualifications in a business or related field such as Bachelor of Business, Management, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or industry specific qualifications or equivalent experience in the Business analytics realm of reporting and data analytics.Desirable• Experience in the financial industry is a plusExperienceEssential• At least three years of experience in Business Analysis and analytics areas.• Experienced with data ware housing and BI solutions.• Experienced with basic BI reporting tools like OBIEE, Tableau, Power BI, etc.• Experienced with PLSQL/SQL is a plusLanguagesEssential• Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in both Myanmar and English languages.
