Main Accountability
- Take the action to the guest requests immediately.
- Check all of the stock items and follow FIFO (First In First Out)
- Attend the meeting if necessary.
- Bartender must have up selling and suggestion selling technique
- Maintain the quality of the service by conducting the knowledge and skill training.
- Understanding and follow the establishment policies as well as correction to the staff.
- Control and reduce the high waste.
- Be careful to Expire items.
- Control the damage and spoilage and keep record
- Clean the bar operation area and around at all time.
- Serve all food and beverages like a professional manner
- Observe and record the guest’s preferences.
- Follow the hygiene and cleanliness procedure.
- Clean and polish all glassware in hygiene purpose.
- Takes order from the guest (by recommendation).
- Create the bar (decoration) if necessary.
- Familiar with all bar items, bar equipment and all of relative food and beverage equipment by English Language.
- Be respectful and helpful to supervisors and Manager.
- Provide good cooperation to all staff and division.
- Communicate with the other department in positive manner. (FO, HK, Finance, M&E, Security).
- Must have good knowledge of beverage and its correct service.
- Meet and exceeds customer and team member expectation by providing high level of service and teamwork.
- You must be having energetic, cheerful and positive personality.
- To inform any unsafe conditions, person and environment to supervisor or manager.
- Must be having influence with relative Hotel English Speaking.
- Be aware purchasing of all materials, beverages.
- Check the standard set up and Miser en place before the operation of bar.
- Follow up the opening and closing the check list of bar.
- Know where the right procedures and duties in the operation.
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Bar Stock with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws.
- Clean bars, work areas, and tables.
- Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
- Order or requisition liquors and supplies.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays and create drink recipes.
Job Requirements
Education/ Qualifications
- Passed Matriculation Exam of Myanmar (or) University Level (or) Educated Degree Level
- Good English Speaking
- Relevant Food & Beverage Service Training Certificate (or) Bartending Training Certificate
- Previous Company’s High Level Management’s Recommend Letters
Knowledge
- Must be have how to make cocktail, juice, coffee, and other non-alcohol drinks
Experience
- Must be have minimum two years’ experience by Bar Helper
