Job Description

• Prepare and cook foods on regular basis
• Quality control of all roast meats before it is served
• Monitor hygiene practices (washing hands, wearing gloves) to ensure that his crew follow SOPs when preparing and presenting food
• Instruct Assistant Chef and Cooks in the cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Check the quality of raw and cooked food products and ensure that food safety standards are met
• Create new dish
• Approve new suppliers and ingredients
• Staff management

Job Requirements

• Must have minimum 5 year experience in F&B
• Able to speak Chinese or Malay Languages
• Must know the preparation and cooking procedure of food
• Must know food and safety standards
• Able to adequately plan stock and manage staff on daily basis
• Able to work with team
• Must have creative idea and commitment to quality
