. Responsible for plant production goals
. Responsible for product quality control for the plant
. Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policy and guidelines
. Work with department managers to ensure coordination of purchasing, production and shipping
. Select and train plant staff
. Foster a well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication skills
. Conduct employee performance reviews
. Schedule and conduct plant meetings
. Ensure maintenance of the clean and safe plant
. communicate with all levels of personnel with strong interpersonal skills
. Attend corporate training and meetings

Job Requirements

. 5+ years Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
. Experience may include a combination of work experience and education
. Food / Beverage / Plastics manufacturing experience preferred
. Experience may include a combination of work experience and education
. Competencies
. Strong planning and organization skills and ability to multi-task
. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, clients, customers and the general public
. High sense of urgency
. Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environment
. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
