Key Accountabilities: The Brand Manager will be a role model and effectively lead a team of different level of retail staff comprising to ensure company goals and objectives are met. Detail Duties and Responsibilities: • Research consumer markets, monitoring market trends and identifying potential areas in which to invest, based upon consumer needs and spending habits • Look at the pricing of products and analysing the potential profitability • Generate names for new and existing products and services, coming up with ideas for new packaging designs, including shape, size, colours, fonts and imagery • Oversee the production of TV adverts, newspaper and magazine advertisements, direct mail packs, email campaigns, websites, exhibition stands, road shows and liaising with art designers, copywriters, media buyers and printers • Supervise the sign-off of marketing literature and campaigns, liaising with legal and compliance personnel, ensuring the designs and messages meet the company brand and regulatory guidelines • Co-ordinate the launch programme to external customers as well as employees. • Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. • Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational policies and procedures. • Emphasize to increase sales force and well plan for vital merchandise. • Communicate with the Principles on merchandise related matters, documentation and shipments. • Merchandise Assortment Planning, Allocations, and Replenishment of stock, Inventory Stock Optimization, Promotions • Monitor stock movement, consider markdowns, inter-branch transfers, promotions or clear outs etc. • Coordinate with the store and warehouse regarding the new arrival, the display material & the stock release and return • Assist in the forecasting of orders quantities based on sales and stock information. • Analyse every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colours or styles) and ensuring that they reach their full potential. • Assist in pricing strategy, ensuring the logic, commercially within the brand targets for margin • Prepare and Analyse reports to determine sales/ margin/profit information with recommendation where appropriate • Analyse the previous season's sales and reporting on the current season's lines; Present monthly revisions of merchandise plans. • Control stock levels based on forecasts for the season. • Assist their employers with analyzing advertising campaigns and monitoring brand quality. • Monitor the reactions of customers and retail outlets to new products and brand initiatives. • Certain fashion marketing management jobs involve public relations. • Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties
Job Requirements
Required Person Specification: • Any Graduate or Sales and Marketing Diploma • 5 years of Luxury Tailored clothing, Retail Sales and Merchandising experience • Well-groomed and neat looking • Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies • Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios. • Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
