JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for commercial activities and maintaining good relationship with customers and vendors

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a dedicated account portfolio
• Develop market share and volumes within portfolio, expand portfolio to include new customers
• Identify market opportunities and new customers
• Plan and conduct commercial visits, promoting and active selling CMA CGM services
• Handle quotations, pricing studies
• Report and update all commercial data through CRM tool, including customer feedback and complaints
• Promote value added services such as ecommerce/insurance/cc log/intermodal
• Implement action plans for Commercial development as defined by Sales manager and Trade management
• Support agency efforts by solving Idle full, outstanding payment with their clients
• Monitor actual bookings versus allocations on daily basis
• Liaise with Logistics Team on last minute new bookings, cancellations, amendments and cut-offs
• Liaise with Vessel Co-ordination team on space issues. Obtaining additional space above allocation. Closer to vessel arrival, notifying of cancellations/amendments
• Inform key clients of changes to services as required
• Maximize vessel allocation and ensure space is utilized effectively
• Communicate with customer on forecast space needs and ensure this covered with allocation confirmation by vessel coordinator
• Build and develop close relationships with customers and understands key clients
• Undertake extra duties when requested by your leader
• Good Knowledge of Logistics and Operations

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Level of Qualification:

• 2+ years of experience in shipping line or a reputed FFW
• Excellent knowledge of local market/clients and business- industries for export & import
• Minimum Bachelor Degree / University graduated

Professional Skills:

• Friendly and good command of spoken and written English
• Knowledge regarding international investment and business.
• Team player and ability to handle pressure and coordinate.
• Excellent presentation
• Knowledge shipping / forwarding industry
