One of our portfolio companies, Xavey Research Solutions, is looking for an energetic Business Development Manager with a love of playing with research data and insights to join its small team.

Xavey is a Yangon-based technology driven research solutions provider for the Myanmar market. With proprietary tools, technology, respondents panel and consultancy services, we help our clients identify challenges and opportunities with their products and brands, whether they are existing market leaders in Myanmar or foreign firms evaluating to enter.

Xavey is a portfolio company of the Anthem Asia investment group and works closely with other group marketing communications firms.

Your Responsibilities
• Be responsible for targeting new corporate organizations, MNCs, local and international brands
• Drive commercial awareness and persuasiveness to find the right contact, understand client issues, and match and apply the benefits with Xavey's products and services
• Based in Yangon, but travel as required to meet clients across the country
• Identify key sponsors, influencers and decision makers at target organizations and ensure that they understand their roles and objectives, and that they understand the benefits and applications of using research data, Xavey's products and services
• Create a sales plan on how to reach sales targets and ensure implementation of the plan
• Research and build strong prospect list database
• Take ownership of personal sales targets
• Identify required additional sales force and build
• Prepare sale/presentation kits, cold call script, email templates and provide training
• Form partnerships with other business entities and organizations that can promote
company’s growth
• Collaborate with other team members across different functions to successfully deliver the
research project to the clients
• Present the research report to client
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist management as and when needed

• Strong interest in research and information technology
• A person who loves to meet new people and has good interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organizing skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word…etc.)
• Fluency in both English and Myanmar preferred
• At least 3 years' sales and client service experience in research field preferred
