Valentis Environmental and Geotechnical Services – VEGS provides geotechnical engineering and practical environmental management and solutions for all phases of mining and civil projects, from prefeasibility to design, construction, operation and closure phases.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
 Business Development
o Identifying business opportunities for Valentis Environmental and Geotechnical Services Division
o Gathering and disseminating the latest industry news and information for environmental and
geotechnical divisions

 Stakeholder management
o Development and fostering of key stakeholder relations
o Managing Valentis and client Government approvals and interactions
o Fostering and maintaining a positive reputation for Valentis with the Myanmar Government

 Identifying and managing business risks resulting from public policy, laws and rules

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelors’ Degree in Management or Marketing
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Development role
• Experience or has knowledge in Geotechnical, Environmental, Mining or Services in Myanmar
• Experience working with the Myanmar Government and networks across local industry and Government
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills including high level of English proficiency
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently
• Strong commitment to safety and ethical behavior
• Possesses strong business acumen
• Able to work individually as well as with team members
• Able to travel regularly
