Position Title: Business Development Officer
Location: Yangon

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation of MKEM consultancy service tender documents: Expression of Interests (EOIs), Technical Proposals and Financial Proposals.
• Liaise with the Business Development Department in Hanoi, providing them with the necessary CVs and materials necessary to put together tender documents.
• Under the guidance of the Country Representative, build and maintain effective relations with clients and consultants (donors, sponsors, bidders, ministries etc.).
• Establish and maintain relationships with these entities in order to identify and win business opportunities for MKEM.
• Work with the Manager to constantly update the MKEM database and search business (development) opportunities via websites, newspapers, relationships, emails received etc.
• Expand the MKEM social network and MKE Myanmar resource library with relevant articles, reports, web links, etc.

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English!
• Confident telephone manner – prepared to hold calls and arrange meetings with other organizations
• High level of computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Flexible, dynamic and able to meet deadlines
• Pleasant personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to problem solve independently without direct supervision
• Under 26 years
