Job Description

Translate business needs to technical specifications
Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
Create tools to store data
Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting Create/deploy Front-end tools web apps for accessing reports
Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
Develop and update technical documentation

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a BI Developer
Industry experience is preferred
Background in data warehouse design and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
Hands-on experience with SQL queries and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
An ability to understand front-end users requirements, analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
