Job Description

MAIN TASKS


Formulates sales strategies/plans for budgeting purpose and implement strategies on local level. Translate business strategies into local personnel development decisions
• Prompt implementation of sales plans
• Monitor the achievement of sales objectives with each major account and identify and propose plans for exploiting business development activities
• Produce regular sales update and forecasts and variance analysis.

Monitors and controls Working Capital for the business
• Meeting agreed NWC targets set via optimization of inventory, especially by managing aging stocks and by managing debt collection.

Manage key customer accounts and relationships effectively
• Actively calls on key accounts and assists sales force, where appropriate.


Conduct analysis of the market, customers, competition, latest trends, challenges, product developments
• Produce market intelligence and economic report
• Maintain a constant communication channel with key decision makers of the accounts and industry leaders/players.


Customer satisfaction
• Ensure that all functions involved in the delivery of agreed customer needs
• Resolve customer complaints.


Direct and ensure production output to provide efficient, timely and economically attractive services to the business with the assistance of Operations Manager
• Ensure customer satisfaction and productivity improvement are efficiently and effectively carried out.
• Ensure optimum level of both OMP and merchandise inventory in order to satisfy customers’ requirements and minimize stock holding(DIV).
• Ensure products are consistently manufactured in the high quality standards out by the RBU.

Develop EB personnel through imparting knowledge and skills and coaching.

Develop EB personnel by establishing development needs and ensuring personnel improvement through Training and Development Courses for skill upgrading with the assistance of HR.


Maintain co-ordination with integral company functions
• Direct the flow of information from marketing, finance and production to the sales team
• Ensure adequate allocation of local / RBU resources in sales force, technical service and customer service in line with customer requirements and regional strategy
• Collaborate effectively with different functions on working towards the company/business goals.


Provide a safe working environment for all personnel at EB’s Site
• Ensure full compliance to corporate and legislated guidelines to environmental health and safety. Through close monitoring, communication, awareness campaigns,audits and leadership by example.

Manage and monitor controlling functions with the assistance of locally assigned Business Analyst.
• Develop and review monthly reports to RBU.
• Provide adhoc reports requested by RBU.
• Monitor key indices like DSO, DIV, CM1, Expenses on a monthly basis.

Job Requirements

*Education/Qualifications*
• University degree preferably in civil engineering, or architectural
• Minimum 10 years in construction
• Basic understanding of structural engineering, construction processes and concrete technology
