Key role of category managers is to direct the category directions (Long term and Short term), by turning consumer insights into actions (Acquiring assortments and seller Management). He/she is expected to grow the category by assigned target through working with internal stakeholders, while closely monitoring and optimising the cost involved.● Category Strategic direction (H1/H2) which should align with overall commercial goals ● The strategic direction will (A) guide and dictate the assortments strategy (products, price and promotion) (B) sellers acquisition alignment and (C) Buyers acquisition alignment with marketing ● Overseeing a large portfolio of strategic sellers through key account managers. Through which● Manage strategic partner accounts at Category level● Through assortments and portfolio of sellers, key category and platform campaigns are planned and activated. ● Support internal stakeholders to achieve operational, financial and marketing objectives in turn
● Degree and above (MBA from recognised university preferred)● Minimum 5+ Years of experience in relevant industry● Competencies in excel : Churning and reading data● Competencies in PowerPoint (Or equivalent deck application): Creating internal and external pitch deck● Analytical skills, strategic thinking and passionate about the field
