Currently, there is a need for a CEO in a reputed Group of Companies here in Yangon for the infrastructure SBU. Getting involved strategically in civil, real estate and concrete businesses, the CEO will act as a leading personnel for the company.

COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: Group CEO, Board of Directors, SBU CEOs, Division Heads, central Risk Management, and staff
External: Business Partners, Government Authorities

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Group CEO and the Board of Directors, the CEO of Infrastructure SBU is responsible of developing and driving the strategic vision, planning and operational leadership in all SBU business activities to support operational efficiency, business development and financial performance for all the Infrastructure SBU activities

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities are to
• Develop and implement short, medium and long term strategic plans in alignment with the vision and mission of the SBU and the group
• Collaborate with business development, sales & marketing heads and Group Corporate Strategy Office to align on the SBU short, medium and long term strategic plans
• Present and obtain approval from BOD on annual business plans and budgets
• Monitor, review and present reports on the SBU financial performance, key performance measures, industry situation and investment opportunities to BOD
• Closely monitor the financial performance against the budgeted and actual figures
• Oversee the SBU operations to ensure targeted goals and performance measure are met
• Guide and develop all the businesses in real estate development, construction of both large infrastructure (roads and bridges) and potentially buildings as well as concrete businesses and promote cross-selling activities across all businesses
• Strategically leverage the synergies among different businesses (human resources, assets, industry know-hows)
• Lead, delegate the responsibilities and supervise the work of employees, providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
• Work together with the person in charge of GR/PR in Corporate Office to build, develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key partners, stakeholders and Government authorities
• Collaborate with Finance Head and Group CFO on liaising potential investors, banks and other financial institutions for financial engineering activities
• Communicate clearly to all the stakeholders to ensure that all the information are up to date regarding the business activities of the SBU
• Work closely with Corporate HR and SBU HR for SBU manpower approval, recruiting of competent employees and developing of training program to complement the SBU strategies
• Represent the SBU at legislative sessions, committee meetings, and at formal functions
• Regularly assess the principal risks of the SBU, report to central Risk Management and ensure that these risks are carefully monitored and mitigated
• Enforce legal guidelines and clear in-house policies to encourage good business ethics

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil, Real Estate) or equivalent
• Master in Business Administration or equivalent preferred
• At least 15 to 20 years relevant experience in real estate/infrastructure/construction industry with minimum 5 years of experience in managing role and proven record on developing and successfully executing strategies and business plans
• In depth working knowledge in the real estate, construction and/or infrastructure industry, preferably in Myanmar

PREFERRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Strong analytical and logical skills with good judgment and decision making
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, legal and industry practices
• Good familiarity with business functions such as business development, finance, etc.
• Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects
• Demonstrate ability to work with foreign partners/joint ventures
• Good level in spoken and written English
