Job Description

An Excellent Opportunity for ...

• Primary responsibility is to assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports to support schedules according to corporate timelines.
• Assist with the monthly close procedures.
• Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions and prepare balance sheets.
• Prepare account reconciliations (cash, bank, liabilities, fixed assets, payroll accruals) and supporting sub-ledgers.
• Handling and verification of cash payments and receipts
• Research and resolve account reconciling items.
• Assist with documentation and testing of internal enterprise reporting system upgrades and modifications.
• Assist with preparation of audit sampling package for external & internal audits.
• Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs).
• Determines tactics for meeting operational objectives and mobilizes resources accordingly.
• Manages the tactical integration and divisional coordination of accounting/finance staff.
• Responsible for performance and activities of direct reports to include allocation of workload, goal setting, coaching, mentoring and feedback. Oversees and provides direction for subordinate employees on assigned work.
• Conducts performance management activities, counsels, and advises subordinates concerning performance. Monitors an documents employee performance for annual performance review.
• Develops personnel to ensure efficient and highly skilled workforce to meet the department and organizational goals/activities.
• Ensures the accuracy of financial transactions, processes, and forecasts with a high degree of independence and autonomy.
• Accountable for ensuring tight deadlines are met for periodic closing and/or forecast cycles (monthly, mid-year, annual, etc.) as well as other special projects and assignments.
• Maintains and monitors compliance with applicable Financial Policies & Procedures and Regulations.
• Effectively represents the Accounting and Finance department in meetings and periodically prepares and delivers financial presentations for various meetings.
• Coordinates activities of the department with interrelated activities of other departments.
• Plays key role in developing new systems, policies, and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Must be communicate English & Myanmar
• Must possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing
• Quick books ProAdvisor certification required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in management
• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a CPA in a corporate setting
• Extensive corporate and personal tax experience
• Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases
• Expertise working with Quick books and financial statements
