Edify is looking for Chief Finance Officer to join one of the most reputable companies in Myanmar, The company is a leading international private company in Myanmar employing more than 6000 local human resource talents, and operating 16 principle subsidiaries in Myanmar and surrounding nations. The company is doing business in Insurance, Finance, Energy, Mining, Construction, Manufacturing, Trading and Automobile.

Job Purpose: The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.

Main Responsibilities:
 Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
 Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
 Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
 Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
 Develop organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion.
 Train the Finance Unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.
 Work with the Chairman/MD on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships on city, state, and national levels, as well as assisting in the development and negotiation of contracts.
 Participate in developing new business, specifically: assist the CEO and COO in identifying new funding opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery.
 For strategic decision making should have knowledge of financial metrics, including margins, EBITDA, and share price
 Attend Board and Subcommittee meetings; including being the lead staff on the Audit/Finance Committee.
 Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
 Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
 Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
 Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
 Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
 Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
 Managing relationships with investors and investment institutions.
 Identifying and managing business risks and insurance requirements
 Support the CEO with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:
 BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable
 5+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
 Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role.
 Able to speak & write Chinese and English languages.
 Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
 In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
 Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
 An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
 High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
