Chief of University College at City College, Yangon

University College teaching Engineering, Business, IT / Computing programs leading to Degrees from our UK partner University. We have been operating for over 2 years now. We are expanding with a new campus, which will be ready in early 2020. This is a purpose build campus - designed for a college.

We are seeking Academic Chief who will be in charge of leading the college, under the director of the company. His or her responsibilities include:
- Lead in the overall operation of the college
- Strong skills to manage staff - both admin staff and teaching staff
- Handle day to day academic and administrative operation of the college
- Faculty and staff hiring and quality maintenance
- Set the strategy and goal for marketing and student recruitment
- Work with the board in planning and college expansions
- Communicate and maintain the relationship with UK partner universities.
- Advice and lead the promotion operations.
- Network with people in the academia a plus but not necessary

Job Requirements

- Chief of the college
- Active role in hiring faculty and staff
- Implement college policies on staff and students
- Plan and lead promotional activities in Yangon and other potential areas
- Maintain relationships with partner university from the UK
- Provide guidance in outreach and marketing

Desired candidates should have
- Motivated, driven and a self-starter who has the drive to succeed in what he/she undertakes
- Significant experience in the academic sector, especially in college or university
- Lead position in academic departments or administration in colleges or universities
- Have the network with people in the academic arena in Myanmar
- At least a Bachelor degree preferred Masters or Ph.D.

- Strong communication skills with decent skill in the English language
