Job Description

An Excellent Opportunity for ...

• Business contributor by providing strategic information to the business that shapes portfolio, brand, and innovation whilst measuring marketing effectiveness
• Support and coordinate category, product and packaging developments and activities with brand and cross-functional project teams. Lead and if needed improve innovation process in line with Global Innovation Protocol.
• Implementation of research agreed upon launch plan ie. Brand Health Tracking, Basket Data, AdHoc Research
• Coordinate and follow up NPI meeting
• Understands and applies the basic principles of qualitative and quantitative research to research objectives
• Makes recommendations between different approaches (e.g. CATI vs CAWI, focus groups vs 1-2-1, monadic vs paired preference) in order to meet research objectives
• Understands standard protocols and how to apply them
• Reviews research materials (e.g. questionnaire design) to optimize research
• Effectively manages research projects to deliver vs objectives on time and in full
• Keeps project owner informed on research projects and manages stakeholder relationships through to completion
• Sorts through existing data to pull out and communicate the salient points in relation to the business issue
• Collaborates with problem owners to understand the business issue and define the associated research objectives

Job Requirements

• Graduate in Marketing and min 5 years’ relevant experience in Marketing (preferably FMCGs), with last role on Brand Management level
• Good understanding of Research, Brand Strategy
• Basic understanding of agency management
• Willingness to 'get hands dirty' and learn by doing
• Resilience to challenging work and live conditions (hardship)
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Ability to analyze and apply market research results into brand strategy and plans
• Negotiation skills and experience in managing Marketing budgets
• People management experience
• Problem analysis skills
