Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

 Promote Branding and visibility of BRAC and its works:
o Regular update the data, information, pictures, stories, case studies in BRAC’s official website, facebook and workspace
o Develop different visual materials on BRAC activities, learning, achievements and events
o Take initiative to increase the visibility of BRAC in all BRAC offices in Myanmar
o Ensure the branding guideline is use by staff appropriately
 --Collect pictures, Case studies, Stories and information from the BRAC Microfinance and NGO working areas for official use (such report, brochure, leaflet, donor information package etc.).
 --Ensure the publication of BRAC’s annual report (including drafting, editing, taking input, finalising) in consultation with BRAC International communication focal person and country team.
 -- Translate official materials (Burmese to English and English to Burmese)
Communicating with external audiences to share lessons learned and raising profile of BRAC Myanmar
o Assist in arranging external events for sharing significant findings from BRAC’s operations
o Keeping government and non-government organizations including funding agencies updated on BRAC’s progress in Myanmar
o Preparation and execution of BRAC Myanmar’s Communication Plan

• Assisting the management team in internalizing lessons learned, good practices and innovative ideas
o Collating information based on need and priority as required by supervisor and management
o Assist in arranging seminars, workshops and events at country office as well as field level for BRAC staff to share and collect information
o Advancing new techniques and technologies for efficient information collection

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in the non-government organisation. 
Able to work under pressure and deadline
 Strong communication and social skills
 Excellent written and spoken English and Burmese
 Familiarity with INGOs and interest in development and poverty eradication
 Interest and familiarity with audio/visual communication
 Skills in communications related software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office package)
 Understanding of social media for development communication
 Demonstrates energy honesty, professionalism & respect for diversity
 Strong planning, analytical and reporting skills.
 Adaptability and ability to work in a multicultural work environment.
