1. Before starting a project,a quantity surveyor must calculate the whole estimate that includes all of
the procedures for this project exactly.
2. A quantity surveyor must check the material rate and labour rate consisted of this project whether
may or may not be proper compared with the present price accurately.
3. A quantity surveyor must check the detail measurements of the project are calculated by site
engineers to report the monthly budget.
4. A quantity surveyor can make not only the calculation of the tender projects but also the
preparation of the tender documents.
5. A quantity surveyor must claim the extra costs of the design variations requested by the clients.
6. A quantity surveyor must be preparing and analysing for the costs of tender.
7. A quantity surveyor must prepare to contract with the clients and sub-contractors for the projects.
8. A quantity surveyor must obey the disciplines laid down by the companies.

- BE(Civil) minimum

- 10 year experience.

- A quantity surveyor have to negotiate with all kinds of people,from site workers to directors
professionally and fairly.

- A quantity surveyor also have to work well in a team.
